Such things never happen in real life. Or do they? Most of us are called on to perform tasks far beyond what we believe we can do. Our capabilities seldom match our aspirations, and we are often woefully unprepared. To this extent, we are all Assistant Pig-Keepers at heart.

Bilbo: No thank you! We don’t want any more visitors, well-wishers or distant relations!
Gandalf: And what about very old friends?
Bilbo: Gandalf?
Gandalf: Bilbo Baggins!
Bilbo: My dear Gandalf!
Gandalf: Good to see you! One hundred and eleven years old — who would believe it? You haven’t aged a day.
I want a sign that says “no admittance, except on party business” for all year round.
There is no such thing as perfect in this world. That may sound cliche, but it’s the truth. The average person admires perfection and seeks to obtain it. But, what’s the point of achieving perfection? There is none. Nothing. Not a single thing. I loathe perfection. If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for imagination. No place left for a person to gain additional knowledge or abilities. Do you know what that means? Perfection only brings despair. It is our job to create things more wonderful than anything before them, but never to obtain perfection.
